About Fujinova

Built for Everyone the SSW Program Depends On

Fujinova is a compliance management platform for Japan's Specified Skilled Worker program — designed to protect workers, support employers, and give RSOs the tools to fulfil their obligations properly.

Why We Exist

The SSW Program Places Real Obligations on Real People

An employer hiring their first foreign worker under the SSW program faces 29 mandatory annual support activities, four compliance stages, visa renewal deadlines, government audit requirements, and the very real risk of a worker losing their right to work — not through poor intent, but through documentation that was never properly maintained.

For most companies, this work has lived in spreadsheets passed between employer and RSO, email threads where important decisions get buried, and paper checklists that no one can find when an auditor arrives. Workers — the people the program is designed to protect — often have no visibility into whether their support obligations are being met at all.

We built Fujinova because this problem is straightforward to solve with the right system, and because the cost of not solving it falls disproportionately on the workers who came to Japan in good faith.

The platform does not replace the judgment of employers, RSOs, or immigration attorneys. It ensures that nothing falls through the cracks between them.

Compliance Roadmap

Built to the Standard We Are Working Toward

Fujinova is a new company. We do not yet hold DMW or RSO certifications — but the platform is designed from the ground up to meet those standards, and we are actively pursuing both. We believe in stating this clearly rather than implying credentials we have not yet earned.

DMW License

In Progress

Certification in progress — Philippine Department of Migrant Workers

We are actively pursuing formal DMW licensing to facilitate the lawful deployment of Filipino workers to Japan. Our platform is built from day one to operate within DMW standards — zero placement fees, full pre-departure documentation, and worker rights protection.

RSO Certification

In Progress

Certification in progress — Japanese Immigration Bureau

We are working toward Registered Support Organisation certification under Japan's Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. The platform already tracks all 29 mandatory annual support activities in the format required for RSO audits.

29 Activities Tracked

Per worker, per year

Every mandatory RSO support activity — from airport pickup to career growth planning — is logged, timestamped, attributed, and exportable for immigration audits.

4-Stage Lifecycle

Intake through permanent residency

The platform covers the full SSW compliance arc: Stage 1 (intake), Stage 2 (arrival and settlement), Stage 3 (ongoing RSO support), Stage 4 (renewal and transition).

Our Commitments

What We Are Accountable For

Every role in the SSW program carries obligations. These are ours.

To Workers

  • Zero placement fees — workers pay nothing to be placed. All recruitment costs are borne by the employer.
  • Continuous support from pre-departure through Year 5, with 10 structured activities covering every stage of life in Japan.
  • A platform where their compliance status, support history, and employer transparency score are always visible to them.
  • A complaint channel that cannot be suppressed by their employer or RSO.

To Employers

  • Audit-ready compliance documentation at every stage — not assembled under pressure before an inspection.
  • Visa renewal alerts at 90, 60, and 30 days, so deadlines are never missed through oversight.
  • A shared activity log with your RSO, so you always know what support has been delivered to your workers.
  • Honest reporting — the platform shows what has and has not been completed, not what looks good.

To RSOs

  • A system that makes 29 annual obligations per worker manageable, not a burden that gets deferred.
  • Every logged activity carries a timestamp and the identity of the person who recorded it — protecting your organisation during audits.
  • Multi-employer management from a single dashboard, without losing visibility into any individual worker.
  • Compliance reports that generate automatically, so your staff spend time on support — not paperwork.

Who We Are

A Team Built Around This Specific Problem

Fujinova was founded by Dennis Clemente, a Filipino-born technologist who has spent years at the intersection of international recruitment, immigration compliance, and software development. The SSW program touches people at one of the most consequential moments of their working lives — leaving home to build a future in a country where they do not yet speak the language, working for an employer they have never met, relying on an RSO they hope will follow through.

That responsibility deserves a proper system. Not a spreadsheet. Not an email thread. A system where every obligation is visible, every action is recorded, and every person — employer, RSO, and worker — knows exactly where they stand.

Our team combines direct experience in Japanese immigration law, Philippine recruitment regulations under the DMW, and enterprise software. Fujinova was designed specifically for the SSW compliance context — not adapted from a generic HR tool or project management platform.

We are a small team. We take on pilot clients personally and we stay involved. If something is not working for your organisation, you will hear from us — and we expect to hear from you.

Start with a Conversation

If you are an employer, RSO, or partner organisation considering the SSW program, we are glad to talk through your specific situation before you commit to anything. No sales pitch — just an honest conversation about whether Fujinova fits your needs.
